Oh my aching hips!

This was another tough rehab day. I actually had sore hips for most of the afternoon, but the soreness has gone away for the most part. I have finally been authorized by the insurance company to have 9 more sessions. I am now at .94 of a mile on the treadmill, and the goal is one mile in 30 minutes. I just have a smidge more to go, but it is so boring walking on the treadmill and just looking at the wall. I have lost the charger to my MP3 player for the 2nd time, and I am not going to buy another one this time. It was in my room before the transplant, so I KNOW it is somewhere in there. LOL Maybe one of the cleaning elves remembers seeing it. :P I could listen to the Twilight Soundtrack to keep me happy. :) The RT kept the tension at the same increased level for the time on the hand-bike, but I went for 6 minutes on it instead of 3 as I did last time. I think she was trying to distract me so I wouldn't notice. LOL I only rode the exercise bike for 15 minutes this time since we increased the difficulty on that for the first time. I got so hot that I figured I was dripping everywhere. I had to get out my tissue and wipe off my face. Yuck. I made it all the way to the end of the time though. The PT turned the fan on me when I was done, and then we also moved it over to the treadmill for that 30 minutes. It helped a lot. I moved up to 3 lb. hand weights, and it was tough! I can't imagine the people using 10+ lbs. Ouch! I only did 2 sets of 12 reps instead of the usual 3 sets, and I had to stop two or three times. Of course one of those times was to poke Kal who came and decided to aggravate me while we waited for the last hour to end. :) I stuck my tongue out at him, but the stinking mask sort of ruined that. LOL While I was gone Baby Brudder decided to make a break for it out of the garage. GrammyRose got him back and was going to treat him with some American cheese. It seems that he doesn't like it because he spit it out! ROFL In the end he was satisfied with cheddar. Spoiled much? :D He is too cute for his own good.
