sahmtojandk - Bear is 13!!!

Yesterday was my Sweet Bear Bear's 13th birthday!  Yay!  We all went to Dave and Buster's and took our friend Drew along.  The food was really good there.  Bear got his traditional chicken fingers, and Bunny, who is on a new BBQ kick it seems, got ribs.  She had sauce all over her chin at one point, but she managed to stay clean.  She even shared at wet wipe with GrammyRose who was all saucy from chicken wings.  Very sweet!  Bear was sitting next to Bunny, and she kept wanting to steal his fries.  He didn't like that idea, but it wasn't like he was eating them.  Silly Bear. :)  Now Drew has had the full Rose-Kal Family initiation.  We'll see if he still wants to be friends with us now. :P  If he doesn't then, I will break the leveling pact on CoH!  Muahahahahaa!  :P  The two big ManKids played shooting-flying-fighting type games while I played my favorite ticket games.  The kids spent almost their entire first load on their game cards playing crane games.  Bear has never had luck with them (just like his Mommy).  Bunny on the other had won a giant, white stuffed seal, a Love necklase, a watch for her, and a watch for Bear. :)  The awesome thing was that when Bear was upset about not winning the watch, she just walked up and said, "Here [Bear] I won this for you."  It was so sweet, and he got much happier instantly!  I raked in the tickets at my little coin drop game (where you try to push the coins off of the ledge to win tickets).  I ended up with 1900+ tickets.  W00t Mommy!  Bear had about 800, and Bunny had about 500.  I got a giant stuffed poisoned dart frog.  He is now named Ribbert, and he will meet his purple shimmering poison dart frog girlfriend Cha-Cha whenever she comes out of storage. LOL  Bear spent all of his tickets on that nasty Sweet Tart gel in those tubes. Icky, icky, blech....  I think he bought 5 tubes for 800 tickets.  Bunny didn't have many tickets, so I let her have the remaining 300 on my card.  She ended up with a thumb trap, two tart gel rope kind of candy - not sure what it was, and 2 nasty Sweet Tart gels.  She ended up eating one in the car on the way home, and then she gave Bear the other one.  He promptly got excited because even though he had just eaten one he would still have 5.  ROFL  We headed to GameStop following lunch so the Chicklets could spend their GameStop giftcards and allowance monies.  (Is that the word cousin SA commented about Bear saying when he was about 3?)  Anyway...Bear picked out his 5 games fairly quickly.  We lucked out that his birthday fell right during the Buy 2 Used Games/ Get 1 Free.  He got DS, PS2, and maybe one other platform games.  Bunny had great, great, great, great difficulty choosing.  OMGosh did she take a long, long, long, long time.  I think we aged another year. LOL  She didn't have as much money or gift card amount to spend, but she still could have found a lot of great games.  I had a feeling that she was just wanting something really expensive and was sort of stalling to avoid asking.  I finally spotted her the owed allowance to get her a new PSP game since she only had one, and Jared had 4.  She ended up spending her money on Disney Dance Dance Revolution.  I tried it, and I think I need to do the tutorial a few hundred more times. LOL  We really want to see DaddyKal try it out.  He was not interested, but I told him that maybe they have a "tap your foot" level. <snort>  I think it will be a fun way to exercise when pulmo-rehab is finished.  I need to find a way to repair our Wii Fit disk so I can do that again.  Any advise on how to clean or repair a Wii disc?  I want to do the step program on there.  I need to find creative exercises to add to my Total Gym, treamill, hand weights, and exercise bands.  We will walk outside with Baby Brudder more now that he has a new lead.  I think he might have eaten the other one. ;)  The Wii Fit and DDR will be great for days that are too hot or when I am too lazy to get out of my pjs.  That happens a lot. What?!  I like 'em.  Who wouldn't be addicted to comfy pj pants after more than a year of being in bed all the time and never getting out of the house.  I probably own all the Old Navy pj pants ever made!  Ok maybe just half. :P  I think I am going to post some birthday pics up here and maybe some Guitar Hero pics on the Christmas post.  Have a great week!
