New Year's Eve

We are spending NYE as we usually do...sitting at home on the puters. :)  Bear and Bunny have made pallets in the family room, and they are watching some special on Toon Disney with the show Pucca.  What a weird show...  The four of us went out to lunch with KingToad and J today for our late Christmas get together.  J got me some super cool decorated masks to wear.  Some have cute little charms on them, and others have lace or fabric sewn on.  I can't wait to wear one to rehab on Friday.  :)  We ate at Chili's, and Bunny ate almost a full rack of baby back ribs.  No joke!  That girl can pack it away!  Bear got a giant chocolate shake to celebrate his 13th birthday, and he sure did get some massive brain freezes. LOL  This was only the second time that I have gone to a restaurant since the transplant.  Bear's birthday was the first time, and I am so excited to be able to go out again.  I will be able to drive starting tomorrow, but my van has a dead battery after so many months of sitting in the driveway.  KalBot needs to mosey on out and get it ready for me. :)  I hope that I can remember how to drive. :P  I have about 8 - 10 new books to read, so I need to get started on something other than a Twilight book for once. :)  My boxed set will be coming in about 4 weeks, and then I can read those all over again. :)  I don't take those to rehab to read because they are so large and in hardback.  It is much easier to hold a small paperback while riding the exercise bike.  I have books for 5 or 6 different series waiting to be read.  It is a big problem when you are caught up on all the new books for the usual series that you read.  I have had to start a couple of new ones. :P

What fun you've all been having! Can't believe your kiddos are so big. Happy Birthday to the 'bot

I just bought the second Twilight book and haven't picked it up. I know that once I do I can't put it down. We did fireworks last night w/ Henry's sisters and boyfriend. Really fun, but we went to bed at 10:30.

We're duds now.
